The Road: East, Without Entering the City

From the airport you take Kardeş Kentler Boulevard and then Rauf Denktaş Boulevard down to the Lara coast. The route does not pass through central Antalya, and this stretch of coast is one of the resort areas closest to the airport (Konyaaltı is about 24 km, Kemer about 61 km). The 23 minutes is a no-traffic figure; on summer evenings the roads down to the beach can slow things a little, but the price does not change.

Where in Lara?

Lara is Antalya's eastern beach strip, part of the Muratpaşa district, known for its long sandy beach and the large resort hotels lined up along the sea. The coast where the Lower Düden Waterfall drops into the sea is also in Lara.
